Just goes to show you– as if more evidence were actually necessary– that racism is still alive and well in North American culture. The politics of racism aren’t something that may be relegated to the quaint, outmoded or ironic in the production of art. Nor can racism be ignored in the governance or organization of our society and its institutions.
